7200LPH Bottled Drinking Water Plant at Aruvikkara
Kerala Irrigation Infrastructure Development Corporation (KIIDC) taken over the 7200LPH Bottled Drinking Water Plant set up at Aruvikkara, Thiruvananthapuram on 5th May 2020. The plant was formally inaugurated on 16th January 2021 by the hon’ble Chief Minister of Kerala. Commercial production of 20 Litre jars was launched on the same day. The plant is situated near the Aruvikkara Dam, 14km from Trivandrum. The raw water supplied from the Aruvikkara treatment plant of KWA is bottled after all the purification process prescribed by BIS, which includes Sand filter, Activated Carbon filter, Ultra Filtration, UV filtration and also Ozonization process. Licenses from BIS and FSSAI and all other statutory bodies have been obtained for the plant .

Production Line
Three separate production lines are installed
1. For production of 20 Litre Jar
2. For production of 1000ml bottles (exclusively for 1000ml)
3. For production of 1000ml/2000ml/500ml bottles
Marketing of Bottles:
The 20 Litre jars are marketed through Kudumbasree Mission. The bottles are priced at Rs.60 .
