Karapuzha Project

Karapuzha Project in Wayanad District, with its strategic location and the natural environment, has the right potential to be developed into a Tourist Destination in Kerala. But, lack of an approved Master Plan for the development of the entire project area, is hampering the total development of the project. An immediate step in the preparation of a Master Plan for Karapuzha Project is necessary for a holistic development of the project area. For this the Company is in the process of preparation and implementation of the Master Plan for Karapuzha Project. Central Government has already sanctioned Rs. 4.90 crores for the development of tourism at Karapuzha and this is being implemented as first stage.
