Government of Kerala has included the upgradation of EK Nayanar Memorial ITI at Kayyur, Kasargod District in the 2016 - 17 budget. The site at Kayyur owned by the Department of Industrial Training, Government of Kerala in Kayyur Cheemeni Grama Panchayath which is adjacent to Kayyur -Cheemeni road has been selected for the construction. The site is was nspected by representatives of the Industrial Training Department, KASE and MAEPL in presence of the MLA, ITI Principal and other officials. The Total Station Survey of the Site has been conducted by KASE through its appointed Agency Ms MAEPL. As per the request from the ITD Office, and the proposals of the Institution Officials, KASE has prepared design, estimate etc for the up-gradation of the Institution through M/s MAEPL. In addition to the up-gradation of the Classrooms, Workshops and infrastructure facilities, the facilities provided also include a Court cum Auditorium Building, a Football ground with synthetic turf and a change room building. On behalf of the SPV, KASE, M/s MAEPL has conducted the Topographical Survey , Soil Investigation of the site. The survey plans and Soil Test Reports are attached as Annexure for reference. M/s MAEPL has prepared the Design, Estimate etc based on guidelines explicitly mentioned in the instructions from the stake holders and the Institution officials through the attached minutes of meetings, and in conformity with the norms as specified by KIIFB.
