Chandragiri river basin of Kasaragode District has been selected as one of the river basins for development. Nine locations have been identified for construction of Bandharas.

- Construction of Bandhara across Chandragiri river at Athanady in Kasaragode District.
- Construction of Bandhara across Chandragiri river at Thonikadavu in Kasaragode District.
- Construction of Bandhara across Chandragiri river at Pallangode in Kasaragode District.
- Construction of Bandhara across Chandragiri river at Chakkode in Kasaragode District
- Construction of Bandhara across Chandragiri river at Kallyot in Kasaragode District.
- Construction of Bandhara across Chandragiri river at Kaneladukkam in Kasaragode District
- Construction of Bandhara across Chandragiri river at Panathur in Kasaragode District.
- Construction of Bandhara across Chandragiri river at Kuthirakallu in Kasaragode District.
