Panamaram river basin of Wayanad District has been selected as one of the river basins for development. Seven locations in seven tributaries have been identified for construction of Bandharas. In this Project report construction of Bandharas at three locations in Panamaram river basin are proposed to be taken up.
Bandharas proposed are as follows.
- PNM-PSY-B1- Construction of a Bandhara at Puthussery in Karamanthodu in Padinjarethara Panchayth
- PNM-VND-B2- Construction of a Bandhara at Veetiyeri in Venniyode puzha in Kottathara panchayath
- PNM-CPZ-B3- Construction of a Bandhara at Maravayal in Venniyode Cherupuzha in Kottathara panchayath
